Don’t Let Your Cat Use The Toilet!
Why do I say don’t let your cat use the toilet? After all there are at least two ebooks that promise to show you how to get your cat to use a human toilet.
Well it isn’t that its bad for the cat, its that it is poisonous for the mammals that live in the oceans. As an animal lover you wouldn’t want to poison the whales and dolphins.
A research team in Britain has found that cat feces flushed down the lavatory may be causing the death of dolphins, whales and porpoises. In California concern that cat feces have contributed to sea otter deaths has led to disposal warnings on bags of cat litter.
Cats can carry a parasite called toxoplasma gondii which is toxic to these mammals. Blood samples from dead stranded cetaceans revealed infection in one in 70 harbor porpoises, in six of 21 common dolphins and in the only hump-backed whale tested.
This concern has been raised by staff from Swansea and Glamorgan universities and the National Public Health Service for Wales.
So we had better make sure we do not flush cat litter or feces down the loo.

Oh, my God! It is really shocking! It is the last thing I can think about, while letting my cat using the toilet!!! Incredible. Everything is interrelated in the world, we should think about it. Thanks for useful recommendation.
I’ve never even considered training my cats to use the toilet, but I know I’ve seen a lot about it. Your post shows why we need to use common sense and not mess with nature. Cats naturally want to use the earth, sand, whatever, and messing with their natural tendencies only messes up something else in our world. Great post.
